We took this generational redesign as an opportunity to make the MILLE GT better at the things we loved about its predecessor, including our premium X-frame suspension carriage, a refined comfort waist fit, and a reduction in seams and weight (28% and 5g, respectively). The insert also got some attention, inheriting the increased ventilation of our GTS/GTO models and receiving 3mm of additional cushioning. We also updated the Odor Control Top Sheet Tex to the Sugar Blue colorway. Type.429 is flexible enough for a streamlined fit; breathable enough for the heights of summer; compressive enough to respond to and support your body; and substantial enough to resist the abuse of countless kilometers. Bib tights engineered with flexible insulation and our signature MILLE Insert to ensure comfortable support in challenging winter conditions. Warmth, flexibility, protection, and support topped our list of must-haves when we began developing the Winter Bib Tights, and each attribute needed to pair with our refined, low-bulk regularFit platform. We made them lightly compressive where they need to be, but not as tight as our racingFit design. The fabric panels flex with each pedal stroke, as they're both pre-shaped and sewn to fully wrap and support the upper leg muscles, knees, and calves while in motion. RX Heavy makes up the majority of the paneling. This brushed warp-knit fabric is a beefed-up version of our workhorse RX, featuring an ECO water-repellent treatment for further protection from light precipitation. Its lighter-weight sibling, RX Light, is an asymmetrical-stretch warp-knit fabric that provides light insulation and boosts comfort in high-flex areas. The fit falls into our regularFit category, optimized for total comfort in the riding position, and with a more relaxed cut than our second skin racingFit.

More breathable, more compressive, more aerodynamic – the EQUIPE RSR S11 replaces the RSR SUPERLÉGER S9 as the most advanced Racing Series short in ASSOS history. The new textile wrapping the large muscle groups of the legs is our most compressive Kompressor textile to date, providing firm support to reduce the accumulated fatigue from micro-vibrations during hours of high-intensity riding. The seat and core are wrapped in the less compressive Type.911, which is the main textile of the RS S11 and R S11 bib shorts, employed here to relieve pressure on sensitive areas. The combination of compressive, ultra-elastic textiles allowed us to remove the rollBar while maintaining 360-degree stability, and the raw-cut waist eliminates restriction.The new RSR S11 insert incorporates the same low-volume, microshock-absorbing comfort and hyper cooling airflow of the RS S11 insert, but it includes additional shock-absorbing modules beneath the ischial bones, oriented for maximum effect in aggressive riding positions.

The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts set a new standard in on-the-bike comfort and female-specific design. The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts blend several proven textiles and construction techniques to create a truly unique pair of shorts that are as fast as they are comfortable. Like our high-end Laalalai Shorts, they’re cut from Type.439 Diadema, a fabric chosen for its exceptional stretch, high-wicking, and compressive capabilities. Wind-tunnel tested and using our aerodynamic Fenomeno1 design, these are our some of our fastest women’s cycling shorts yet. The precise fit comes down to the waistband design, where we applied our breathable, ultrasoft Aerofit material at the front, using a fold-over construction that comfortably holds the shorts in place across the abdominals. We did the same at the lower legs, adding a secure, stay-put fit with an asymmetrical hold on the thighs. Compared to our Laalalai shorts, these are 2.5cm shorter in length. And in terms of the insert, we’ve sewn in the lightweight, breathable S7 EVO to deliver targeted support and all-day comfort.

The critical updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new textile and a new insert. The new textile, Type.911, allowed us to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let us eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. The new RS S11 insert’s top sheet is both softer against the body and more durable for washing, and it has an improved odor control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.

GTO marks the pinnacle of the Total Comfort MILLE GT line - spiritual successor to the iconic CENTO and Campionissimo Bib Shorts. It features the plushest, most responsive and breathable ASSOS insert to date, wrapped in our new frictionless, wrinkle-free paneling. The GTO has two leg lengths: STANDARD and LONG (+3cm vs standard). BEHIND THE PRODUCT With large-muscle support, friction, and excessive pressure remaining critical issues on long-duration rides, GTO destroys conventional bib short construction formulas. For the next generation of lightly insulated UMA Knickers, we’ve incorporated several new features and textiles, the most notable being our hipClick construction, which creates the steady, stabilizing fit of bib knickers without the layering hassle and discomfort of the straps. The leg bands received a similar treatment with a new band design that’s lighter and more breathable, and our updated UMA GT C2 insert shifts cushioning to support more upright, less aggressive riding positions—ideal for comfort over longer distances.

The next evolution in total comfort for winter bib tights, refined with increased insulation and a deeper, plusher insert. The new RX EVO Plus textile is the most insulating of the RX Evo family. The added insulating qualities of RX EVO Plus textile handle colder conditions than the previous model, reducing the gap to the ULTRAZ counterpart without risking overheating in all but winter's worst weather. The absence of bib straps compounds the difficulty of dialing the perfect ride-tuned fit. To address that, we reimagined the waistband with a stabilizing elastic layer that anchors the fit and an additional top band of mesh that extends coverage, independent of the elastic band, for comfort, moisture management, and to eliminate gaps between shorts and jersey while in the saddle. The updated insert features increased ventilation, a reduced footprint, and a new Odor Control Top Sheet Tex in Sugar Blue.

The Mille GTS Spring Fall Bib Shorts are a streamlined regularFit short tuned for the cool and often damp rides of spring or fall. Constructed around the Mille GTS C2 insert, its active fabrics are RX EVO light, which provides lightweight insulation with high breathability, and RX EVO, which adds midweight insulation for targeted protection.
