The XPRO 12 SL is the ultimate expression of pedal technology, making it TIME’s lightest and most ergonomic road pedal. The XPRO 12 SL’s carbon body and proprietary design create a powerful structure to transfer power from your legs to the road. Power transfer and stability are enhanced with a larger pedal surface area of 725mm-squared compared with the already large surface area of the XPRESSO at 700mm-squared. The ICLIC system, with its pre-opened design, allows for positive engagement and greater comfort. This pedal combined with the ICLIC Float Cleat allows float (angularly and laterally) while clipped in, reducing knee strain. TIME XPRO pedals offer three options for spindle length to provide riders with more ergonomic options. Finally, the XPRO 12 SL features watt-saving ceramic bearings and a super light hollow titanium spindle, resulting in an overall weight of 87.3 grams per pedal. The carbon blade is also adjustable in three positions to optimize engagement tension. The pedal’s low stack height keeps the cyclist’s sole as close to the center of the pedal axle as possible, which, along with the large pedal surface area, results in incomparable pedaling efficiency and comfort. We recommend a maximum weight of 90kg.
