Bilaminate Damping™ is Santana’s term for an advanced adaptation of constrained layer damping. With its Bi-Laminate tubing that adds carbon seat-stays and co-molded carbon/titanium down and bottom tubes for the vibration damping effect of dissimilar materials while maintaining the scratch resistance and durability that makes touring couples choose a titanium frame. Our frame delivers the lively magic carpet ride of carbon/titanium but with the confident handling and better power transmission at a lighter weight than the competition’s straight gauge frames. The reconfigured Synergy now incorporates the Evolve carbon disc fork and Gen4 10” rotor for superior stopping power in all-weather conditions.
